Vanessa Shockley is a derptastic abstract artist and writer who loves spending her mornings sipping coffee and lounging on her porch with her furbabies, Annabel Lee and Serenity. She primarily dabbles in creating stories of dystopian erotic horror, paranormal perversions, and psychological thrillers.

In addition to the adult-themed works, Vanessa is also the author of the children’s neurodivergent fantasy chapter book series called The DemonBunny Chronicles. This project was inspired by her youngest daughter, who is on the autistic spectrum. As an avid reader, Vanessa was determined to create imaginative worlds that would captivate her child and encourage a love for reading.

Vanessa has a BA in Psychology. She is a full-time MFA creative writing student at Southern New Hampshire University.

Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac near Athens, GA, her home is adorned with warped bookshelves bearing the weight of her extensive book collection and cherished Wonder Woman and Donald Duck knickknacks.

If she can pull herself away from binging other people’s works, she hopes to complete her next novel by Spring 2024. In the meantime, she continues to write short stories centered around various vengeful, creepy, horror themes.
